On 3 October 2022, the ICC confirmed the schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. There is a total of 10 teams in the World Cup namely South Africa, Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Ireland. These 10 teams play a total of 23 matches from 10th Feb 2023 to 26th Feb 2023. The teams are divided into 2 groups A and B. Australia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka are in Group A, and England, India, Pakistan, West Indies and Ireland are in Group B. Before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 main event, the participating teams competed in the 10 warm-up matches, the 10 warm-up matches were played from the 6th Feb to the 8th Feb 2023. All the matches of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will be played at 3 different venues namely Newlands, Cape Town, Boland Park, Paarl, and at St George’s Park, Gqeberha. India Women vs England Women Squad 2023
The 2023 year Women’s T20 World Cup edition is the 8th edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Tournament. The ICC Women’s tournament has started from 10th February to 26th February 2023 in South Africa. South Africa Women’s Cricket Team has automatically qualified for this tournament as hosts. Apart from that in December 2020, ICC confirmed the qualification process for the tournament. Australian Cricket Team is the defending champion of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
In Women’s T20 WC 2023 each team will play 4 matches, after which the top 2 teams from each group qualify for the semifinals, and in last final match will be played between the winners of the semifinal matches. The women’s India team will play 4 games, where 1st match will be played on 12th February against Pakistan, and after that, the 2nd match will be played against West Indies women on 15th February 2023, both these matches will be played at New lands, Capetown. The 3rd match will be played on 18th February 2023 against England and the 4th match will be played on 20th February 2023 against Ireland, both these matches will be played at St George’s Park, Gqeberha.
India Women’s team will play its 3rd main event match of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 vs England Women’s Cricket Team. The match will be played on 18th February 2023, Saturday. The match will be played at St George’s Park, Gqeberha, and will get started at 06:30 PM. where the toss of the match will be done just before the 30 minutes of the game i.e. at 06:00 PM.
