2023 ODI Cricket World Cup

On 9th August 2023, ICC and BCCI shared the revised match list of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. It was revised due to security and festival reasons in India on match day. A total of 9 matches’ schedule has changed including India and Pakistan match. In the initial schedule, the match was to take place on 15th October 2023, Sunday but as per the revised schedule, it will be played on 14th October 2023, Saturday. For all the revised match schedules the venue is the same and the date/time is only changed.

ODI Cricket World Cup Match List 2023

In previous editions (2019), the schedule was typically released well in advance. For the 2019 World Cup in England, the schedule was unveiled in April 2018. Fans eagerly await the ICC’s schedule announcement and the was released on 27th June 2023. The official starting date of the ODI World Cup 2023 is 5th October 2023, Thursday, and the final match of the ODI World Cup 2023 will be played on 19th November 2023, Sunday.

One Day Cricket World Cup Match List 2023- The World Cup kicks off on 5 October 2023 with a repeat of the 2019 Final as England takes on New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The last group stage match will be played between England and Pakistan at Eden Garden, Kolkata. Host team India will begin its campaign on 8th October 2023 against Australia at Chennai. Each team will play, the other 9 teams in a round-robin format with the top 4 teams will qualifier for the knockout stage and semi-finals.
