T20 World Cup Team List 2024
The current defending champion of the T20 World Cup is England, who won their maiden title in 2022. The Final match of the T20 World Cup 2022 was played on 13th November 2022 between Pakistan and England, where England beat Pakistan by 5 wickets and won the title.
The 20 qualifying Teams will be divided into four groups of five, from which the top two teams in each group advance to the Super 8 round. In this stage, the qualifying teams will be split into two groups of four; the top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stage, Which will consist of two semi-finals and a final.
The top eight teams from the 2022 tournament, along with the two hosts, the West Indies, and the United States, qualify automatically for the tournament. The remaining automatic qualification places (to give 12 teams in total) will be taken by the best-ranked teams in the ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings, as of 14 November 2022, who have not already secured a place in the finals.
Out of the 20 teams in T20 World Cup 2023, 12 teams have already qualified now the rest teams are qualifying through the qualifier match of Europe, Eash Asia Pacific Qualifier, American Qualifier, Asia Qualifier, and Africa Qualifier.
