The Legends League Cricket tournament will begin on September 16, 2022, at the Eden Garden Stadium in Kolkata with a special match between India Maharajas and World Giants to commemorate India’s 75-year of independence. The fans have an opportunity to watch a mouth-watering contest as some of the biggest T20 specialists in the league such as Chris Gayle, Harbhajan Singh, Mitchell Johnson, Virendra Sehwag, Shane Watson, and Muttiah Murlidharan are participating in the league. Unlike the first edition, the 2nd edition of the Legends League Cricket has four franchises based teams. The teams are India Capital, Gujarat Giants, Manipal Tigers, and Bhilwara Kings. The top 2 teams from the points table will play in the qualifier at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium, Jodhpur on 2nd October 2022 and the winner directly advances to the final to be played on October 5. However, the loser of the qualifier match on October 2 will get another chance to have a match on October 3 to seal a place in the final match.
