The Sri Lanka country’s Cricket premier league was first played in 2020 and its latest edition will be in 2024, B-Love Kandy is the current champion of LPL. B-Love Kandy won the 2023 LPL title by winning the final match against Dambulla Sixers by 5 wickes.
The 5 teams of the Lanka Premier League represent the 5 cities of Sri Lanka Country. Four seasons of the tournament have been played so far and 2024 will be the 5th season. The first season was planned to be held in 2018 but this was postponed multiple times due to the administrative issues within Sri Lanka Cricket and finally, it happened in 2020.
Lanka Premier League 2024 – The 5th season of the league will be played from 01 July 2024, Monday to 21 July 2024, Sunday, 5 teams in the tournament played a total of 24 matches including playoff.
