IPL Prize Money Distribution 2023 in Rupees

The BCCI released the IPL 2023 schedule on 17 February 2023, in which a total of 74 matches were to be played by 10 teams at 12 venues. Out of these 74 matches, the first 70 league matches were played, which started on 31st March 2023 and ended on 21st May 2023. After this in 4 playoff matches, Qualifier 1, then Eliminator match, and then Qualifier 2 match was played. The last match of IPL 2023 i.e. the final was earlier to be played on 28 May but was played on 29 May 2023 due to rain.  For this season IPL Prize Money 2023 details are as under-

IPL Prize Money 2023

In IPL 2008, the prize money was 4.8 Crore for the winning team and 2.4 Crore for the Runner-up team. Now 15 years later, the prize money of IPL has changed as the Indian Premier League continues to be the more premium league.

The batter with the maximum runs in IPL will get the orange cap award as well as Rs. 15 Lakh money, and the bowler with the maximum wickets in IPL will get the purple cap award as well as Rs. 15 Lakh money. Apart from these awards, the emerging player of the season will get a cash reward of Rs. 20 lakhs, while the most valuable player will get Rs. 12 lakhs. the Power Player of the Season, Super Striker of the Season, and Game Changer of the Season – come with cash rewards of Rs 15 lakh and Rs 12 lakh respectively.
